Our provider uses cryotherapy to freeze the wart, causing it to scab over and eventually fall off. Usually one treatment is needed but may need 2-3 treatments 2 weeks apart depending on size of wart.
Our provider uses cryotherapy or cuts with scissors.
Our provider performs incision and drainage by cutting on your skin over the abscess after being injected with a numbing medicine or freeze spray. This allows the pus to drain out.
Our provider removes a partial or complete portion of the side of the nail and destroying the nail bed beneath after being injected with a numbing medicine, and the toenail/nail is cut to create a new, straight nail edge.
Our provider uses an adhesive skin glue, staples, or sutures to close the cut. When sutures are required we first clean the cut with iodine
. Then inject with numbing medication. Then, sew stitches under the skin. You will then come back in 5-10 days to remove the stiches. Once removed and 24 hours have passed you can then apply scar gel to reduce the appearance of the scar.
Our provider may use silver nitrate to shrink granulomas. Wounds can be debrided. Wound care dressing changes.
